The Spotify app has a feature that helps you find friends. It uses the Community tab and the Friend Activity feature to show you your friends’ most recent song selections and most active streaming. This feature is a new addition to the app, and it’s still in early development, but it looks like it could be helpful.
Friend Activity
If you want to see what your friends are listening to on Spotify, you can use the Friend Activity feature in the desktop app. Simply open the Friend Activity section and zoom in on a friend’s profile to see what they’re listening to. Then, click the track’s details to hear the song for yourself or save it to your own library. You can also download a song’s sample for offline listening.
To enable this feature, first sign into your Spotify account with an email address or Facebook account. If you have friends on Facebook, you can add them as friends to Spotify. You’ll need to follow them back to show up on your Spotify sidebar. To do this, you’ll need to enable the Display and Social options.
While the Friend Activity feature on desktop isn’t yet available on mobile devices, Spotify is preparing to roll out a community page that lets you see what your friends are listening to. This feature is essentially an extension of Spotify’s “Friend Activity” feature, and will enable users to collaborate on playlists with their friends.
While the Friend Activity feature is currently available only on desktops, it is coming to mobile devices as soon as the company releases the new mobile app. Spotify is known for its social features, so this new mobile feature will give users a more in-depth look into what their friends are listening to and what playlists they’ve updated recently.

Friend Mix
If you want to find out what music your friends are listening to, you should check out the new feature called Spotify Friends Mix. It’s available to premium and free users. However, you can only use the feature on desktop and iOS apps. To access it, you must have at least three two-person Blends created.
Using this feature, you can easily create your own playlist with songs you and your friends like. You can then invite your friends to join your new playlist. This feature is similar to Blend, where you can automatically create a personalized playlist with your friends’ music tastes. If you have more than one friend, you can even combine their listening histories with the same artist to create a customized mix.

With its new feature, called Friends Mix, the company is hoping to increase user engagement by creating dynamic playlists based on what your friends are listening to.
The Friends Mix feature is currently only available for iOS and desktop devices. Users will need to have at least three Blends to access the feature. However, you can manually add up to 10 friends to make the mix for them. Moreover, you can choose as many Friends as you like, so you can create your own playlist with a few clicks.
Follow friends feature
The Follow friends feature on the Spotify app allows you to follow specific users. To add a friend, first login to your Spotify account and type in their username. Then, click the Follow button. You’ll see their activity in the Activity tab of the app. If you’d like to follow more than one user, you can also follow all of your friends at once.
Another feature of the Spotify app is its community page. This page allows you to view your friends’ most recent song selections and any new public playlists they’ve created. However, if you don’t want to connect with Facebook to find your friends on Spotify, you can still search for your friends without Facebook. You can do this by searching for their name in the search box and it will list them in the top results. Alternatively, you can search their name in their Spotify profile to see whether it’s listed in their playlist.
To connect with Facebook, open the Spotify app on your phone or computer and go to its “Social” tab. From there, enter your Facebook login information. Once you have done so, the app will prompt you to give it permission to post to your Facebook timeline. Select the people you want to follow, and then click OK. Once your friends are listed, you can follow them and add them to your Spotify playlist.
Once your friends are added to Spotify, you can follow them individually or follow them all at once. You can also disable your friends from seeing their activities on Spotify. When you connect with Facebook with Spotify, you can view their profile pictures and other details. It’s also possible to add additional friends and follow them.
The Spotify app will display a list of your Facebook friends who have Spotify accounts. You can follow your Facebook friends by clicking their names or by clicking their profiles. Once you find someone you’re interested in, you can request them to send you their playlists or send you their profile link.
